I have to tell you something.
Something we've been dreaming about for a long time is finally becoming real. The Life After I Left anthology is happening. 10 women, 10 stories, one book, all built around what happens after you choose to leave.
The relationship you walked away from. The identity that stopped fitting. The abuse you no longer tolerated. The version of yourself that had to die so a new one could show up.
Getting here wasn't quick, and it sure as hell wasn't easy.

We read through an insane number of applications from women all over Australasia who were brave enough to put their story forward. Raw stuff. Real stuff. The kind of thing you don't usually say out loud, let alone type into a Google Form for a stranger to read.
Narrowing it down to 10 broke my heart a little, not gonna lie. Every single woman who applied showed up with courage. That doesn't just disappear because she didn't make the final cut; it stays with me, it stays with them.
If that's you, reading this right now: thank you. Truly. Your willingness to be that honest is exactly what this project is about, and I see you.
What the Life After I Left anthology is actually about
This isn't a self-help book. It's not a list of steps to "heal" or "move on." The Life After I Left anthology is 10 women writing the truth about what came after they left - a marriage, an identity, a career, a version of themselves that was quietly killing them.
Some of these stories will wreck you. Some will make you laugh in the middle of getting wrecked. That's the point. Life After I Left has never been about tidy endings. It's about the mess, the fear, and what's actually possible on the other side of it.
Our 10 authors are now deep in the writing process, working alongside me and The Daring Press team to bring their chapters to life ahead of a March 2027 release.
Before I start sharing their stories with you properly (soon, I promise), I want you to meet them. Go give these women some love and hit follow on Instagram - they're about to do something brave, and a little support goes a long way:

10 different stories. 10 different scars. One shared truth: leaving isn't the end of the story. It's the beginning of a much better one.

This book is bigger than me
I've spent years building a stage for women to own their voice, share their stories, and break the silence. The Life After I Left podcast and events have always been about that. This anthology is the next chapter, literally.
It's proof that storytelling saves lives. I know because it saved mine.
That's not a tagline for me. It's the whole reason I built this platform, brick by brick, story by story, fear by f**king fear.
If you've ever stood at your own edge of "after", wondering if it's actually possible to become someone new, the Life After I Left anthology is for you. And if you know a woman who needs to hear that she's not alone in the mess of rebuilding, share this with her.
We're just getting started. Stay tuned for each author's story, one by one, over the coming weeks.
